    Good idea but it needs to hold the steering when the engine torque tries to pull (I think, not push) the steering cable, otherwise there still will be creeping or albeit slow turning of the wheel.
    Of course you may as well alter the steering to hydraulic to “lock” the wheel with the added advantage of smoother and easier steering.
