Does it hold the fuel pressure when the RPMs are limited?

some switchs have a resistor built in. the ECU is looking at a voltage not just an open or closed.
the SM will have the correct resistance values for open or closed.

yes, it is always around 41 to 44 PSI.. I replaced the high pressure fuel pump in the VST a couple of weeks ago, when I cleaned all the filters.Originally posted by 99yam40 View PostComment

So you have monitored it under high RPMs when the RPMs are limited?
or are you just saying you measured before and after at Idle?Comment

Part came in, and I tested it and installed it. It has a 4.67 ohm reading when not pressed in, and continuity when pressed in. I ran a ydis and there were no Faults. Tomorrow It is beautiful here on the west coast. Well keep you guys posted on the outcome. Thx again for all your help.

Conclusion:
1. Cleaned all filters
2. Cleaned fuel injectors
3. ran YDS
4. Got faults on YDS, took 24 hrs to cool down my madness of error codes and retested and found simple fixes, then found the culprit.
5. ordered part OEM#69J-8259F-00-00 - Switch Assembly
6. checked part and ran YDS after installing, clear codes again, but didn't have any.
7. When fishing yesterday, engine ran perfect. Hope this thread helps the next person, thx again to all that help me..
