    You don't need sealer on those gaskets...

    For S&G's, put a straight edge on the block and head. May be very warped, thus someone put two gaskets.

    As 99Yam posted, I never heard of two gaskets either...

    IMO, I wouldn't put two back on one head

      Many thanks. That is very helpful. Won't have a chance to work on them again for a few weeks, but I'll post something when I've done the straight edge check that you advised. Appreciated..
