    Pass the popcorn... NO, a switch is not a sensor, a switch can be turned on or off, nothing more, nothing less, a sensor is variable, and can be on, off, or somewhere in between, it can display various values, like on an old fashioned gauge where the "needle" moves around as (say) temperature increases, it can operate with no mechanical connection to activate its function, but by change in heat or pressure for instance.

      AND, in most cases, when either come up in this forum, its friggin BROKE!!!
