Yes, with that you can connect to the NMEA 2000 port
of either one of your Garmins,
and have data from both engines,
to display however you like in Garmin's 'generic' screen
and let you run a 'virtual fuel tank"

Or, you can connect to the J1939 port of the 943
which will present a special "Yamaha" page
which essentially emulates the Yamaha 6YC display.

This is what you need to do:

Ok finally got all parts to set up. So I set it up like the diagram. Now I have both of the engines info on my garmin. But now two of the multifunction gauges shows info for only one engine. Where did I go wrong? What needs to be done? Thanks again

Ah - I could have predicted that, my apologies.

You did nothing wrong this time -
but what you did the first time - separate networks for each engine -
          was so unusual
that I didn't think of the consequences:
both engine/gauges "still think that they are engine #1"

You simply need to perform a reset,
          and then re-initialize,
so that the starboard engine will be set to #2

          its a simple procedure,
explained on page 15 of the Gauge Manual
if you don't have it, here's a pdf

No need to apologize. You've been a great help.
Got everything working correctly now. Thank you
Interested to know how would a normal twin engine set up be rigged?
The yamaha dealer where i purchased the engines from did the installation.

Glad to hear everything turned out well!

"Normally" I would expect to see twin engines rigged with just a single "Main Bus Harness"
              between helm and transom,
with a multi-hub at the stern,
and with 2 Tachs and a Speed/Fuel gauge,
              another multi-hub at the helm
              like so:

tell us what you have now:

                  number & type of engines,
                  what Yamaha gauges/display
                  what brand/model GPS
do you already have a NMEA 2000 backbone

It would be best if you start a new thread:
click the blue "New Topic" button in the upper left of the page
