Unfortunately I don't have an illustration of a two stroke carburetor with a prime start device. Lucky to have what I have.

Yamaha is weak on theory of how their stuff actually works. Again, another problem with their service manuals as I see them. Getting better but still weak.

Wouldn't your career have been so much easier if there ware specific documents you could turn to for review to better understand what was supposed to be happening and when it was supposed to have been happening?

Maybe flawed/inferior original information plus translation issues equals generally less than perfect manuals?.....

        could it have been better?
        yep.
but where is the fun in that?
could the US navy CIWS manuals been better?
        yep.
back about 1989 while in class at Damneck VA we were cycling signals through the modulator.
that's when I pointed out it cannot work as the wiring diagram was drawn.

book showed a connection point between a 220V A/C line and a 12V DC line.

me and the instructor argued a bit but in the end I was right and eventually the manual got changed.

and that manual wasn't in jinglish nor swinglish.
