I would like to convert my 89 25sf to electric start. What would I need to do this? Part numbers etc... Also if I decide not to convert to electric start I would like to know if the 25SF has a the ability to charge a battery while running. Not a large battery, just maybe a lawn mower battery. I use them when I run yo-yo's. Any help would be great. Thanks in advance.

If your engine came with a lighting coil, and it appears it may have; then there will be two wires coming out from under the flywheel, most likely yellow in colour, that are capped and connected to nothing. You will need a rectifier to convert the alternating current produced to direct current to charge a lead acid battery. It's not to difficult to hook up and charges about 80w or 6amps.
