F50TLHD motor problem

Okay.. Put everything back together and ran tests. The high pressure pump in the VST is working within normal limits. The ISC is opening and closing @ the right points and is within limits as well. The boat tech ran his laptop on the engine while it was running and everything was ok. He stated that the problem could be occurring from the ECU or a pulser pack. I am going to test the engine tomorrow under load at the the river. I will take my muliti-meter and repair manual and check the values. Hopefully this will end this nightmare.

Just to follow up. I installed the new CDI today. Took the boat out and it now runs perfectly. The CDI was the problem. No more stalling and it runs alot smother.

Glad to hear you have got it under control, but it is all ways best to test things while the problem is occurring to see what needs replacing first and then replace parts it is always cheaper
