1990 Yamaha C85 Power Tilt/Trim

This particular engine does not have power tilt/trim. I'm wondering if anyone out there knows if it will work to buy an after market trim motor and trim switch in this engine. I would like to know it will work before purchasing the trim motor and switch. Any place you could steer me would be appreciated!

I'm not that familiar with the aftermarket trim units but they do have them that will work on your motor.

That's good to know. I just didn't want to get one and find out the motor design precluded an electric trim motor to work on it...

I hope you understand he was not talking about just a motor and switch but a complete after market power tilt and trim unit that you bolt on between the motor and boat.
