20 hp cm out board

hi looking to find the year of my out board its pre 1984 i think transom plate reads yam20 653s****** thanks also looking for repair manual .

The only 20hp yamaha's that were sold here in USA is in 1996 and 1997, We don't have any information on motors sold outside USA and not sure what year it is.
