Oil Pump Linkage

I ordered a new oil pump from boats.net for my 1990 70HP and they sent me what they say is a superseded oil pump part# 6H1-WS132-00-00 along with an adapter, new linkage and check valves for the oil lines.Does anyone have the procedure for synchronizing the oil pump linkage to the carbs and what oil lines go to what carb position.The manual I have does not cover this newer oil pump. Thanks

Adjust it with a small gap between oil pump lever and stop pin on oil pump with engine at idle position.

Carb lever moves toward front of cowling at wide open throttle..... that would make the lever near the pin at wot. right or wrong ?
