Seals on my hc5340 steering

I am replacing the seals on my hydraulic steering I am following the directions and it tells me to take the rod nut off then the support bracket nut off. From the directions it seems like the support bracket should come off but mine seems stuck or I am forgetting to do something any ideas???/

They will get corrosion in them and may need a little heat applied to it.
