2002 130HP V4 Problems!!

Been having some techincal issues with my 2002 Yamaha 130 V4 motor. It runs decent and has new plugs. Whenever I try to throttle up at a rapid pace the motor just cuts out and dies. You can ease into the throttle and it will get up and go then but no other way. Also when you run it for the first minute to minute and a half it runs at about 5400 rpms and absolutly moves my 18ft flats boat but then it starts cutting back on rpms all the way down to 4600 to 4700 rpms and wont ever obtain the speed and rpms it did before. Just looking to get some help with the issues and the things i can look into to fix this problem. Thanks.

sounds like fuel issues. What kind of maintenance have you done to the motor.

If you keep running it that way it may cause some major problems if it is a lean fuel issue from plugged or restrictions
