I have a 5hp Yamaha outboard which I bought in St Martin in the Caribbean in 2002. The top cowling was broken recently and I have had trouble finding a replacement. It does not have an internal fuel tank. The model number is somethings like 5CMHG. Any help would be appreciated/

Number 1 in this diagram is the cowling for a 2001 5hp USA model motor, but not sure if will fit your motor.
