Stuck in forward.

Hello out there. I have a 30hp 2 stroke model 61tk that is stuck in forward. The selector moves to the three positions (frwd, nrtl, revse), but the propeller is still in forward gear. Hope i have explained myself well for someone out there to understand what im on about. Can someone help me?

If it's a remote control model check shift cable and cable connection to motor. Check shift linkage on motor to see if working, if ok the remove lower unit and check to see if can shift into gear by shifting shift shaft by hand.
