  • Water Pressure Gauge

    Hi Everyone -
I am trying to figure out how to install a water pressure gauge on my 2006 Yamaha 15hp 2-stroke. Can anyone tell me how to tap into the existing water line (all I can see is the hose that exits to the pee hole) or is there a plugged port on the engine to connect an adapter nipple to?

Thanks in advance for the assistance.

There is not a water pressure port on that engine, you would have to get an aftermarket water pressure gauge and install a Tee fitting in tell-tale hose on engine and connect water pressure hose to tee fitting.

Thanks. Do you have a part number for the T or is there an aftermarket kit? Also, what psi gauge - 15 or 30?

      Thanks again.

No probably have to go to a Auto parts store and pick up a 1/4 tee fitting.
