    I have a 1991 115 yam that blew and looking at a yam 1996 150. Can I bolt on and go or do I need a adapter or ?? and it has 105 compression is that good. Any and all help would be greatly appreciated since the boat I bought got two trips out and engine blew. Thanks all

    The change from a 4 to a 6 cylinder will be heavyer dont forget so the back of the hull will sit a fraction deeper in the water . The extra horses will sure make a differance . Cables (throttle and Gear shift ) and steering should be the same. Just check the electrics !!!
    You will have to learn how to drive it all over again !
