  • Engine Water Temp

Running an F-115 on ear muffs, the water coming from the lower unit is warm and the pee hole is still cold after 15 minutes. Could the theromstat be stuck open? or did we run the engine long enough?

I am not for sure,,,check the manual, but I thought that it states not to "run" the engine on ear muffs?? again, I am not a mechanic just another yammi owner

I believe your correct. Our engines are 2004's with just over 300 hrs. 200 of those hours are saltwater and this might be a good time to check and change.
          Thanks
