1997 50 hp 2 stroke wiring

G'day all,

Recently I had to replace my console that housed my analogue instrument cluster on the 50 [I also have a later 60 on another boat with digital gauges] and when putting it all back together again I have found a predominantly yellow wire with orange or brown bands about 12mm apart that has no counterpart to connect to.

Can anyone advise where that wire should be connected to

If it is connected to key switch then it's the 12 volts key on power lead that powers up gauges.
