Z300TXRD HPDI Tilt/Trim Motor

Hello, seeking a little advice and know how if you could be so kind. I run a Yamaha Z300TXRD HPDI, built 11/04. I've trouble shot the issue and isolated it to the tilt/trim motor being the culprit.

My question is what is the best/easiest way to remove the T/T motor? It appears to be a 3 bolt, 2 wire motor but can only access 2 of the 3 bolts. Is it possible/best/easiest to remove the entire T/T system via the system mounting bolts thus accessing the 3rd bolt head on the T/T motor?

This motor is a beast and I'm hoping that the entire motor doesn't need to be dismounted from the jack plate.

The power tilt assy is not hard to remove on that motor and gives you full access to bolts.

Thank you. Easy to remove with motor mounted to the transom? Via the series of bolts on each side of the motor mounting brackets?

Yes remove bolts on side and pin from tilt cylinder and can remove or tilt out enough to get to trim motor bolts.
