9.9 high thrust wiring for tach

I have a 2006 9.9 high thrust 4 stroke used as a kicker. I have installed an autopilot that needs a tach reading. On the 150 4 stroke there is a green wire that is for the tach. On the harness at the 704 control there is a green wire with a round plug receiver from the engine - would that be the proper wire to connect the tach to the autopilot?

Yes that is the tach signal wire.
