  • How to adjust 704 twin binnacle

I have 704 twin binnacle how do you adjust so that the handles are the same distance at the same rpm's? One side has to be pushed up more to get the same rpm's.

Check the throttle cable adjustments at engines are adjusted the same.

I have the same issue. The poblem started when one of my throttle bodies froze up. I pushed the throttle so had that I thought I stretched the cable because the throttles were un-even when I got it freed. I replaced the cables and have lined up the adjustments. The starboard throttle has to be pushed forward farther than the port side for the cable to start moving. when I run the boat the startboard side is so much further than port and it is a pain when someone else takes the helm.
Both engines are the same RPM at idle, and same RPM at the first "click" into gear. It is only "off" when the throttles are pushed forward.
Where do I start to address this issue?
