water temp gage

I could use a little help please. Just got a new F115 (2008) and I am installing
a water temp gage. The pink wire goes where? In the 703 or to the motor.

If this is a Yamaha temp gauge then connect yellow and black wire to gauge harness that goes to 703 control box yellow and black wires. Connect blue wire at top of gauge to Nav light switch. Connect temp sender harness to gauge(blue and black wires) and thread into water port on engine block

Its a yamaha gage 10-6y7-83590-00-00 but I do not have the temp sender harness part number. can you help. you are right its a blue wire not pink.

Temp sender is part number 688-83591-00-00
Here is the water port diagram but it doesn't show anything that helps, it's right behind the dipstick on block.
