  • How to prime or bleed oil lines

I am going to replace all of my oil hoses from the the pump (on the motor) to the cab's etc. Some one posted to make sure I bleed the oil lines after replacing. How is this performed or does the pump do it automaticly ????

Mix up a 50:1 oil and gas mixture and connect to engine. Disconnect the oil link arm from oil pump and let oil pump lever go to full throttle position. Start and run engine on premix at idle for 10 minutes and watch the oil lines, when all the air bubbles have past through lines reconnect oil link arm. Mark the oil level on oil tank and continue to run on premix for a couple of hours. Check your mark to see if oil level has dropped and oil pump is working.
