  • Replacing Gauges on a 91 150hp

I have a 1991 150hp yamaha outboard. It currently has the 2 digital multifunction guages, but both have faded out because of sun exposure. I want to replace them, and am trying to figure out what options would work. Are the new yamaha gauges compatible with my motor?
I would prefer to put in analog gauges, as I am trying to restore the boat to as close to original as possible, and wonder if that is possible on a 1991 yamaha, or if the wiring harness is too unique. Any help would be appreciated.

You can use 6YR-W0035-F1-00 multifunction tach and speedo kit and 6N7-82541-00-00, 6R3-82541-00-00 wire adapter's. That would be all it would take to replace the gauges with digital gauges.
If you use analog tach with oil lights you will need 6E5-82541-10-00 adapter wire. If you use analog trim gauge( use 3 wire gauge), 6E5-82541-00-00 is required. the rest of gauges will work.
