    Hello All,

I am having trouble with my 225 four stroke. I decided to use my alternate back up tank on my boat. To my surprise my engine cut out. I am guessing that the engine took water which caused it to die.

I switched back to the main tank that I was using and the engine still would not start.

The racor filter is full of fuel and seems to be no dirt or sludge restricting the fuel flow. I emptied the filter and bowl on the engine. After 30 minutes trying to start simultaneously she still wont kick. What is my next move?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Regards,
    Toni

If you found water in fuel filters then the vapor separator tank on engine will also have water and have to be drained(small drain screw on bottom of tank) and fuel lines flushed to get all water out.
