loss of power

we lost a lot of power this weekend we have a brand new prop would it be fuel filters if so where are they located, it is a 2001 4 stroke 115HP

If you lost power after changing props then new prop may be too much pitch. Check to see if same pitch as old prop.

It is not the prop we changed from a 13 to 17 but the boat ran fine for 5 or6 hours after that than lost power I am wanting to know if there is 1 fule filter or 2 on that engine

It has filter on side of engine and another filter on electric fuel pump in vapor separator tank.
