50 HP tiller question

I just bought a 94-96 (not sure of year) 50hp yamaha 2stroke model # P50TLRS. i bought it with no controls, and want to make it a tiller, not sure of where or what parts i need and also the motor has been sitting for a few years im wondering what all work should i have done as normal maint. to prevent problems on the water

The tiller handle kit is part number 6H5-W0086-A0-00 but is no longer available.
Probably need to remove and clean carbs, replace fuel filter, replace water pump and change lower unit oil.

look on ebay they are on there all the time i bought mine there $150 bucks
