1999 250 yamaha

just bought a 250 yamaha and was wondering if the oil tank needs a primer ball or if the tank will pump on its own after being hooked up and if so is there any way to tell if oil is pumping. second does anyone have tach diagrahms i have the tachs but no way to know were they all go thanks for you help

The oil tank in boat has an electric oil pump that transfer oil to engine oil tank when engine is running, you should see oil level on engine tank increase until it reaches upper line on oil tank.
