Trim guage install

I just bought a new north river boat and need to install a trim guage what does this process include and do I need any special tools

Did you not get the Yamaha digital tach gauge ? All Yamaha gauges are color coded so all you have to do is match up the wire colors and plug 'em in basically. Are you talking about adding a seperate 2" analog trim gauge?

No i have not bought the guage yet i will buy the yamaha and go from there are the rest of the guages basically plug and play so to speak
