excessive oil consumption

I have twin 96 250hp sw II motors, they run great, but the port motor oil consumption is 3x the rate of the starboard motor. I have checked for leaks and the adjustment arm @ the motor. the plugs are clean and there's no excessive smoking . Any ideas? thax

Check the linkage between carbs and oil pump. I had same proplem and it was a plastic connecter that broke on the oil pump.
