2001 200 hpdi

the #2 plug and the one below it got fouled, the bottom plug on that side had black on one side too, #1 and down that side are burning clean. The engine had started to lack power, but when i replaced the plugs that were fouled it still lacks power. I was thinking the fuel pump diaphram is leaking. where is that fuel pump located? any ideas on what it could be?

Follow the fuel hose from engine fuel filter on left side of engine, the hose connects to low pressure fuel pumps.

how do i check to see if one is leaking? Thanks

Unbolt fuel pump from engine, pump fuel primer bulb and see if gas comes out small pulse hole in back of fuel pump. If it does diaphram is ruptured.
