  • No Power

This is a follow up to my thread yesterday re no power. I took top carb completely apart all jets and sprayed cleaner through passages and blew them out. Did not see any crud of any kind. I am now convinced its an ignition problem on the top cylinders. Even though I get fire from the wire to the plug and also took a plug out and it is firing through the plug. I hooked up a timing light to check timing but on both top cylinders It will not work on either top cyclinder but does work on both bottom cylinders. I also swapped CDI units with other motor same result. Does the trigger coil fire the two top cylinders off the same side? My guess is it is the trigger coil or possibly the stator. Hopefully someone can shed some light on this.

Could be pulsor coil(trigger), If you have a DVA meter check the output voltage.
