power head

Hi, I am just wondering if a powerhead from a 1997 ox66 fuel injected 225 fit on th midsection from a 1999 carbed 200 Vmax?

Probably but would need to use all ignition and fuel system on 97 engine to make work.

I have everything down to and including the gauges . I needed to know if the blocks were the same where they bolt to the midsection. I thank you very much for your quick response I am trying to change a 30in shaft off of
a saltwater series to a 20in shaft

just go to your dealer and check base gaskets... i wouldnt think so but im no pro as i always thought the 3.1 were significantly bigger than the 2.6.
