1990 yam 150ETXD Trim problem

Greetings..ahh summer almost here!

OK I have two 1990 Yam 150ETXD outboards on my GradyWhite and after the winter freeze the port engine trim when con*****ed from the helm switches only down works. From the engine mounted switches everything OK. I suspect the relay box in the engine..any ideas?

Also looking for a service manual LIT-18616-00-50

you said all works ok from the rear then the front switches or wires are bad. check continuity and switches.

Thanks JB. I checked trim switches at base of 704 control and ran 12V to each side (up and down), down works but still no up on port engine. Is there a relay before the actual trim motor or does the trim switch activate it directly???

there is a relay but you said it works a the rear switch ??
