need long bottom leg for 115 Yamaha 2006

I have a jet leg on my Yamaha outboard and what to convert it to a prop. I bought a lower leg off e-bay and the shaft portion is 23" long. It's not long enough though. (I'd have to do a lot of transom modification and buy a "jack plate".) Does anyone know if I can get a longer lower leg or a spacer kit for this motor? Regards Rene
