  • digital tach

I just installed a Yamaha digital tach and connected it via a 703 con*****er to a 2004 F60TLRC via the green, yellow, and black wires.

The tach and the hour meter work fine.

What do I need to get trim, oil, and temp to work?

PS It looks like there is a connector at the motor for a trim sensor but no sensor.

Also can someone tell me how to operate the mode switch?

Thanks in advance. You guys have been a great help.

Go to www.Yamahapubs.com and order a service manual for your motor. I would have expected you already did this before installing the new gauge or working on the motor. The mode switch is zeroed by holding down both buttons with the ignition key ON (motor NOT running...).

I did purchase the service manual. It does not show any wiring for the connection of the digital tach / multi function meter.
