I'm installing Lowrance N2K engine interface cable(s) on twin 2007 F150 Yamahas with Command Link. I have located the Yamaha connectors, but have several questions. Do I need to use two interface cables (one for each engine)or is one sufficient? When I disconnect the Yamaha connectors and connect them to the Lowrance interface, will I lose data to the Yamaha Command Link gauges? If the answer is yes, is there any way to prevent this loss of data to the gauges? Is there anything else I should be aware of or do when connecting the interface cable(s)?
