Motor Swap

I currently have a 1987 200HP and I am looking at buying a 1991 225HP. Will this motor work with my existing gauges and controls?

Also, on the boat that the 225HP is coming off of... will a 2006 225HP HPDI work with the 1991 gauges and controls.

The 1991 will work on 1987 gauges, control and harness.
The 2006 wont work with 1991 gauges(would need tach kit 6YR-W0035-E2-00) But controls and key switch will work.
