need help with gauges

Hi everyone! I think that this is a great site. I read a lot of great info here, but havent found exactly what fits my situation. I have an 87 wellcraft coastal 250 with twin yammy 150 etxh's. The problem that I have is that the tachometers which seem to be the yamaha pro model with oil level indicator read way off. Going thru a no wake area, they readup around 6-7000 rpms. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

JB123 I thank you for your reply. I saw the attachment on the dip switches and would like to know what positions to set them at. I have twin yamaha etxh's. Again I thank you for the response. Oh forgot to tell you the year!! The yamaha's are 1987 2 stroke.

set for 2 stroke engine, 12 pole alternator and 3 wire trim sender.
