Converting 05' F25ESHD to remote

I have a 05' F25ESHD I plan to convert to remote. I have learned I need the following parts and looking for confirmation that they will work.

65W-48511-00-00 purchased
65W-61350-00-00 purchased
65W-48501-00-00 needed - Remote Control Attachment
65W-82590-30-00 needed - Does this replace the exiting harness so it will plug into my 7 pin harness on the Remote?
703-48230-15-00 purchased 7 pin no Power Trim

Everything looks good except for the wire harness(it is needed to connect to 703 main harness)
65W-82590-20-00 7 pin harness for elect start no power trim
65W-82590-30-00 10 pin harness for elect start with power trim

If you don't have power trim use the 65W-82590-20-00.
If you do have power trim use the 65W-82590-30-00 and 703-48207-17-10 control box.

10 pin versus 7 pin harness

I ordered the 65-82590-20-00 harness and it showed up with a 10 pin connection? I will call to exchange it but would like to know the correct part number. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm sorry I found out the charts are wrong, That is the correct wiring harness for an elect start non tilt model. The problem is the control box, will need 10 pin controls 703-48207-17-10.

Thank you for the quick response. Unfortunately I already have the remote control box with the 7 pin harness. Is there a part number for for a motor harness with a 7 pin connector? Is it the 65W82590-30-00?

No unfortunately there is not, all the four stroke 25hp show a 10 pin harness. There is 7 pin to 10 pin adapter(7 pin eng to 10 pin control harness) but it would be backward for what you need

New harness for the 703 control

OK, I want to try replacing the wiring harness on my Remote 703-48230-15-00. I find there is a harness I can buy 688-8258A-20-00 to change the remote from the 7 pin to a 10 pin. Do you think this will work? Than I should be able to make all my hook ups to the motor.

That control box is a pull to open throttle and the F25 needs a push to open. You would have to change the throttle arm(part number 703-48261-01-00) and the wire harness(688-8258A-20-00).

Can add a Tach?

I have everything installed and working fine. I am looking to add a tach 6y5-83540-20-00. Will this tach work? will the wire harness 6y5-83553-00-00 go with it? I se other harnesses listed with different last four digits but I don't know what I need, 20-00, N0-00, & M0-00. Hope you can help me.

Yes that tach(6y5-83540-20-00) will work but would need harness number 6Y5-83653-00-00(not 6Y5-83553-00-00) and 6Y5-83553-N0-00.
