  • Salt Terminator vs. Salt-Away

I ran a solution of one quart of "Salt Terminator" and thirty gallons of water in my flush bucket thru my cooling system on my C115 for twenty minutes, and was able to remove some of the sand deposits that were clinging to the walls of the water jacket (see previous post).
Has anyone compared this product to another called "Salt-Away"? Their webpage testimonials are pretty impressive, but I cannot find it locally so far.
    Thanks for your comments.

I have used Salt Away for several years. It works best if used within 10 minutes of turning off the engine when running the boat in salt water. In my experience it does not do much to dissolve already built up salt crystals in the powerhead. I have never used Salt Terminator.
