Low Voltage With Hpdi?

Second try? My 250 hpdi quit running with a battery that went bad. Is this possible that 12.2 volts after engine quit killed engine? I tried to charge battery in garage today and it wont come up on full charge. But I never had a bad battery kill a running engine? A hpdi has an electric fuel pump is this what did it? It was in the 50s and sunny yesterday and snowing today so I cant try it again.

HI, it is very possible, if somehow the battery shorted internally. try a battery that you know is good. I am pretty sure that it will get you going again.
