Is there any way possible to hook up an external water pickup line to the flush line or block on this motor. I am running twins on an Armstrong bracket and it is a little too high and water pressure drops off to nothing at full trottle.

          overheating

Boat was converted from i/o to outboard. Bracket is new to boat and set up. The bracket was installed per manufacturers instructions. I have run many race cats like skaters and spectres and have run xternal water pickups or low water nosecones with mercury power, never had yamahas with no place to plug in xternal water.
