HPDI 300 Questions

hello ,

I am looking at a boat with a 300 HPDI 05 with 330 hours, can you please tell me what year the water intrusion kit started coming standard, and when the oil pump mod or replacement came out

should a standard pre purchase inspection cover me , will yamaha take care of the kit and or oil pump , ? if it has not been done

there is alot of negative info on the net about this motor ? thank you for any imput

Have your dealer check that serial number for warranty status and it will tell you what modifications that have been done or what needs to be done on the motor.
