outboard motor ?

My Father has an 1986 90ETLJ. It has been smoking some lately and the spark plugs are wet. He thinks it is getting too much oil.
Is there a way to adjust the amount of oil and if so what is the recommended setting?

No there is no adjustment for oil pump that would change mixture.
