  • Color of oil

    Hi,

My 115hp 4 stroke 2002 but only 200 hours has his oil which gets grey after i change it in ten minutes runing time, and where i am located there's no service available. What can make this ? The engine works well at 59oo rpms ! I wonder if itis not gaz that would do that and wonders if someone already had this problem. I am thinking of changing my thermostat ?
    Regards.

It doesnt sound like the thermostats it sounds like water is getting into your oil. usually oil get grey or or a milky color. dont really know how i never had a 4stroke but i would start there. I wouldn't run it if that is the case if the oil is watered down it will not lubricate properly and blow the motor

      Hi,

I thought too at first it was water but the oil is very fluid not creamy and it smells gas. I thought that the thermostat was gone and the information sent to the calculator was wrong so too much gas was injected and therefore was goning in the oil. Am I totally wrong ?
