  • yamaha 50hp won't start

Untill now my 50hp 2-stroke has just purred. Now it just turns without
starting. I have good spark. I can smell gas after manual choke, what
can I check now, and how do I check it?
    Thanks for your help

It may be flooding, see if carbs are leaking fuel and remove fuel pump and see if if gas comes out hole in back of fuel pump when you pump primer bulb.

I'm sorry when I told you to remove fuel pump I didn't mention that no gas should come out small hole in back of fuel pump, if it does then the diaphram in pump has a hole in it. Do you see a gas slick on top of water when trying to start it?
