when starting my engine the alarm no longer goes on to let me know if the key is engaged hoping that it will work if oil is low any help thanks

also anyone know where i can buy a yamaha manual

Yamaha single key switch panel doesn't have a self test alarm in them, if the landyard cord is unplugged it will sound an alarm when cranking engine over but no alarm when turn key on.

thier twins the starboard works the port doesnt

The dual switch panel has a module in back of panel that may be bad.
