F250 questions about props
Have a 2006 F250 on a 2001 23' Ribalo walk-around cuddy. Did some research and not sure if we need a 15 1/2 x 17" pitch pro series II stainless steel prop. Tried a 15 3/4 x 15" pitch and it seems as though the prop is too small. Does anybody have any input on this?

The Saltwater Series II would probably work better on that boat than the Pro Series. The operating range on the F250 is 5000-6000 rpm's. Each prop pitch change will change rpm's by 400-500 rpm's, if you go from a 15 pitch to a 17 pitch it will decrease rpm's by 400-500 rpm's.Comment
